Response to COVID-19

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Double Portion served meals as take-out only. As current guidelines allow, we have returned to in-person dining with an option for take-out for those not yet comfortable with in-person dining. Recognizing that many of our volunteers, guests, and their family members may be at a higher risk for developing complications from various illnesses, including COVID-19, we have made the following changes to our services:

  • Dine-in meal service is available from 11:30 am through 12:15 pm (M, W, Th).

  • Take-out meal service is available from 12:15 to 12:30 pm (M, W, Th). 

  • The pantry will be open 11:00-12:30 (M, W, Th). A volunteer will assist one guest at a time with selecting their needed items.

  • The doors to the church will open at 11:00 and will close at 12:30. Guests comfortable socializing are able to do so beginning at 11 am.

  • Masks are optional and vaccines are not required for guests or volunteers.

  • Please follow all procedures below and follow any directions from volunteers.

 

If you feel ill at all, we ask that you do not come to DP - whether a volunteer or guest.
